Future Living: Hill House
Our team have been hard at work in the heart of Essex upgrading an old vicarage into a high-tech contemporary home. This job was a big one encompassing the dining room, cinema, office spaces, a home gym and secret doors.
We were delighted to join our outstanding clients on-site as they renovated and upgraded their charming residence nestled in the scenic Essex countryside. This captivating property, a former vicarage, has undergone multiple expansions throughout the years resulting in a mess of styles.
Working in tandem with out sister company Fallon & Co Builders, our team worked it's way through the property with a range of innovative joinery projects bringing a cohesion to this stunning home.
The scale of this project encompasses multiple different spaces for the family to work, rest and play.
To achieve an overall coherent style, Fallon Bespoke Joinery developed a customised wood stain allowing a through-line in all rooms. With both clients working-at-home in creative careers, an element of fun was crucial.

The project's bespoke signature colour was then applied to this stunning stair system.
THE ATRIUM
The central statement of the project is this stunning double-height atrium which with covered with fitching field ash slats, giving the home the feel of a giant tree trunk from which all else grows.

Whether your home office occupies a dedicated room or a compact space within your living area, Fallon Bespoke Joinery will meticulously cater to all your needs.
WOOD PANELLED HOME GYM
The client was keen to have a practical space resistant the the wear and tear of weight based exercises. Using reclaimed unstained juniper, we designed wood panelling and boxing which echoes the shapes of the gym equipment.
DINING ROOM
Our client was keen to maximise storage space whilst creating a social dining area. Our team designed and installed a curved banquette bench with multiple drawers. Working with our upholstery partners, we are currently working on the cushions and final finishes.
Secret Cinema
Hill House once housed the poet William Winstanley. Our client took his poem, Natures Impartiality, and created works of art using AI. We built frames then used one of the pictures to create this stunning secret door to the cinema.
Inside, we panelled the room with acoustic foam, covered with specialist material, to create the ultimate home theatre.
ANNEXE OFFICE
Our brief was to create a warm working environment for the client. We designed and created handmade wood slat walls carrying the same colour stain through to the entrance porch and external garden stairs.
